Largest free-floating soap bubble-Samsam Bubbleman sets world record

Monday, August 10, 2009

Samsam Bubbleman, 37, a professional bubble-maker, created a giant soap bubble, which stretched to 20 feet by 5 feet by 5 feet at its largest-setting the new world record for the Largest free-floating soap bubble

amsam Bubbleman created the Largest free-floating soap bubble using a secret formula he developed during the past 20 years. He refused to reveal the recipe for his bubble mixture, saying it is the secret to his success.

To make this enormous orb he used just a piece of rope attached between two sticks.

"It's all about having the right bubble solution," the self-described "bubbleologist" said. "If you have the right mixture, then your tools don't matter."

Samsam Bubbleman, 37, is a professional bubble-maker who has performed for the Dubai royal family and numerous celebrities,

"Being a bubbleologist is almost as much about being a wind catcher as it is a bubble maker. You become quite sensitive to changes in direction and you have to move at the right time to keep the bubble together."

Samsam Bubbleman's real name is Sam Heath.

Samsam first started his love affair with bubbles in 1989 and now earns a living doing what he loves best.

"It all started with just a single bubble-he said. I was sitting in a field and a bubble just floated past. I took the word away from the object and just looked at it for what it was. I captured my imagination and I just thought what an amazing thing that was."

"It's like one of those anomalies of nature that just shouldn't exist. Like a bumblebee being too big for its wings."

He eventually formed company Bubbleinc and now sells mixtures, equipment and performs shows for big name audiences.
Over the years he and his team of 10 bubbleologists have performed bubble shows for the Dubai Royal family. Stars like Paul McCartney and Peter Gabriel have also brought him in for private shows.

This new world record for the Largest free-floating soap bubble replace the previous Guinness World Record holder, a 105.4-square-foot bubble created in Minnesota in 2005.

The Old Photo in Kanataka village people

Thursday, August 6, 2009

The small village of Kudle, in the state of Karnataka, was unknown by westerners when I arrived there in -87. I made friends with some of the local people and learned to speak some of the local language Kannata.

When I returned to Kudle during the next few years I gave to my new indian friends photos which I had taken during the previous trips.

Some of the farmers had never before seen a photo of themselves. Today Kudle is a well known resort for budget travellers from the west.

Nikon D300 Image quality

The D300S boasts 12.3 effective megapixels and an extremely high signal-to-noise ratio thanks to Nikon’s renowned DX-format CMOS sensor. Initial image capture data can be quickly and accurately transferred using 14-bit integrated A/D conversion. All successive internal processing is then handled at a full 16 bits. The resulting output reveals breathtaking details and remarkably smooth tonal gradations.

With its emphasis on exceptional image quality, the efficiently sized DX-format image sensors have enabled Nikon to develop a celebrated line of powerful, smart D-SLR cameras. In Nikon DX-format D-SLRs, the effective picture angle is equivalent to approx. 1.5x the lens focal length, so a smaller, lighter telephoto lens can be used in place of one with a longer focal length, thereby letting you use lighter, more portable equipment. For photographers who shoot on location with a large amount of equipment, and for those who favor telephoto shooting, the DX-format image sensor provides many significant advantages.

Stone forest known as fossil forest is a group of unique stone formations of ancient origin.

Rock phenomenon is located about 18 kilometers west of Varna.

Tash Dikili site (Turkish) is characterized by over 300 different sizes of stone columns with natural origin which are quite well preserved, despite their age.
Vertical rock formations are hollow with a thickness of 0.3 to 3 meters and some of them reaching up to 10 meters height. Columns have different cross-section, some of them are broken into two or more parts and form a beautiful group, which tourists often liken to the sculptures, depicting people and animals.
